Tagumpay ang Baklasin ang Nakaraan

Ang proyektong inilunsad ni Deniece Cornejo, chairman ng eco-coastal clean-up campaign sa Antipolo, Rizal, noong May 14 na binansagang “Baklasin ang Nakaraan” ay isang tagumpay dahil sa partisipasyon ng 120 youth volunteers kung saa’y tinanggal nila lahat ng iniwang nakasabit na tarpaulins sa mga poste at ito’y inipon sa truck na pinadala ng Department of Environment and Natural Resources para ma recycle.

Ang proyekto’y isinaganap noong May 14 at sila’y nakakolekta ng 60 kilos of campaign materials (tarps, stickers atbp) sa buong probinsiya ng Antipolo, Rizal.

Si Cornejo, na Earth Saver ambassador ng DENR at reserve sergeant ng Philippine Air Force ay binigyan ng tulong ng pulis at iba’t ibang mga civic groups ng Antipolo para isagawa itong proyekto sa mapayapang paraan.

Mga tumulong sa project ni Cornejo ay sina vice chairman Sgt. Reserve Maria Eloisa Soriano ang project officer, former Mis JC International Antipolo Catrinne Ayel Jorda in partnership with City Governor Nini Ynares and City Mayor Andeng Ynares, DENR-PENRO Rizal DENR Director Khalil Sergio Bayim for strategic communication and the initiative service Support of Kiwanis Club of Eastern Antipolo, Former Gov. Contrevida ng Kiwanis Club of Infinity, Palawan president Jasmine Roda, Kiwanis Club of Morong, Barangay Dalig, Sta. Cruz, San Jose, Cupang.

Participating schools were St. John’s wort Montessori school of Antipolo, Sumulong Memorial School, Our Lady of Fatima University at San Roque National High School.

Ang project was covered by Peoples Television, Philippine Statistics Authority, Avon Morales, Francis Cua, Sgt. Jeffrey Malaluan, Sgt. Ella Bella, Jose Echevarria, Primithios Punzal.

Ang youth special awards went to Claud Bermido, Kean Charles Alino, Andrei Mella, John Daniel Toledo, Lanie Lyn Dingcong, Mary Grace Papa, John Chloe Lopez, Aubrey Jean Canencia, Shane Amaroso at Elysee Bejar.
