Local pageantry is making a move toward pageant inclusivity beyond beauty, talent, and wit.

This is the first edition of the Mutya ng Taguig pageant, removing the maximum age limit and restrictions on marital and parental status.

Among the 36 candidates is 70-year-old Rhonda D. Felizmena of Brgy. Pitogo, where she advocates urban gardening in areas where a greener environment should be prioritized to mitigate the effects of climate change, especially in densely populated areas like metropolitan Manila.

Shining among the 36 phenomenal ladies is Alessandra Leanne Plantado of Brgy. Central Signal was crowned Mutya ng Taguig 2024; Danielle Mariz Lamptey of Brgy. Central Bicutan was hailed as the first runner-up, Charish Apple Arellon of Brgy. Santa Ana was hailed as the second runner-up, followed by Ylllana Marie Macapagal of Brgy. Bagumbayan was hailed as the third runner-up, followed by Aubrey Ysabelle Delos Reyes of Brgy. South Signal was hailed as the fourth runner-up.

Special awards were also given to Ma. Christine Vallega as the best in talent, Daniella Mariz Lamptey as Miss Photogenic, Shirimah Dimarunsing as the darling of the press, Rhoda Felizmena as Miss Congeniality, and Jerelleen Robdiguez has the most creative advocacy video.

No national pageant has yet to be confirmed; thus, the Mutya ng Taguig 2024 will be the city's ambassadress and will represent the LGU at some national pageants.
