All work and no play makes Juan or Juana a dull boy or a dull girl.
A girl-next-door of someone else believes in the adage.
Former president of the Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP) Michelle Nikki Junia, a Leytena who has roots in Tolosa and Tacloban City, just promised herself she’d pamper her body and soul with the much-needed vacation once she had the time.
The moment has come. Michelle Nikki immediately booked herself a plane ticket, packed her things up and flew to Japan to experience once more the beauty and majesty of the House of the Rising Sun.
Even during the holiday season, Nikki was very busy and her schedule was too hectic she couldn’t even sip a cup of coffee to smell the flowers in the garden.
As owner and manager of MusikGarten Manila, a music school for young and old alike, Junia has to drive the institute to the right direction although her ever loyal and competent alter-ego, Myka, is always there to support her but personal overseeing and ministerial management of the whole structure depends mainly on her.
Especially at this point that there are many inquiries and interested parties to enroll in music enhancement, Michelle Nikki has to act double time to satisfy her enrollees.
Aside from managing MusikGarten Manila, Nikki is also tied up with her duties and responsibilities as President of Rotary Paseo de Roxas in Makati where she leads a pack of wonderful and cooperative fellow officials and members.
When she landed in Japan, Michelle Nikki gave herself all the time in the world to enjoy every minute of her stay in Kitahiroshima, Hokkaido, Japan.
It was snow time in one of the largest islands and scenic prefectures of the northern part of the country.
It was also playtime for Nikki who made a Snowman out of the bits and pieces of snow.
“Let it snow,” she said in one of her Facebook posts.
“Wanna see my little snowman?” was Nikki’s request to all her friends in the digital world.
Obviously, our petite arts manager and entrepreneur wanted to take advantage of her short but meaningful vacation in Japan to refresh and recharge.
When she comes back to work, she’ll full renewed and revitalized.
