One is bad enough; three is alarming.
While rescuers were in the middle of training during the Region Rescue Jamboree in Sogod, Southern Leyte, the community was alarmed when they discovered three dead bodies in the area.
Authorities believed the remains were victims of summary execution last July 4. These were found under a bridge after residents started complaining of a foul smell in the area.
All of the victims were estimated to be below 20 years old, tied with masking tape, and all sustained gun shot wounds.
As of this writing, the victims are yet to be identified.
Cops are still conducting a thorough investigation.
