Philippine tree squirrel (Sundasciurus philippinensis), known locally as the 'kulagsing' were recently spotted in a forest in Ormoc City.
Unknown to many, kulagsing can be found in the Visayas provinces of Bohol, Leyte, and Samar and also in parts of Northern Mindanao.
