Is it the right time for newbies to be feted with awards such as the Empowered Men and Women when they still have to prove their worth as achievers in their chosen fields this early?
It is because awards guru Richard Hinola will once more honor the diligence, talent, relevance, perseverance, professionalism, hard work and other significant contributions of young and popular movie, television and multimedia artists in tomorrow's (Saturday, August 16, 2025) awards night at the Music Museum of this year's Empowered Men and Women among the youth sector.
Noticeably, Hinola will recognize most of today's young stars in the Sparkle management of talents of GMA Network no matter how fresh these talents are but he sees promise in them.
"These Sparkle stars are very dedicated to their craft even if they are just starting. For this alone, they deserve incentives and awards are good motivators in improving their latent potentials. Empowered Men and Women mean the possession of freedom and responsibility among the young people to advance their cause," said Richard.
Some of the Sparkle talents to be awarded Empowered Men and Women are Neathan Tan, the so-called Sparkle Campus Cutie; Larkin Castor, Sparkle Young Actor; Kim Perez, Brent Valdez, Skye Chua, Breakthrough Actress and Athlete of the Year; Love Kryzl, Youngest Chief Executive Officer (CEO); Sarah Ge, Seasin Live Drag Performer; Pixie, Most Outstanding All-Girls P-pop Group, among other awardees
Meanwhile, entertainment journalists Ricky Gallardo, Fernan de Guzman and yours truly wiil also be recognized as Empowered Men for our commitment to Philippine Movie Journalism.
