Mom and model Sofia Andres has added a new title to her name—entrepreneur!
During a recent European vacation, Sofia discovered a newfound passion for vintage shopping and brought home some of her treasured finds to the Philippines.
“I love it! It feels like a treasure hunt… I love the experience! There are so many vintage shops in Europe. So what I do is go through them one by one, walking through the stores to find something truly unique,” she said.
Excited by her discoveries, Sofia showcased some of her vintage finds on social media.
Encouraged by the interest, she officially launched her online selling venture a month ago.
“I think stylists and my friends are really into it, so I feel like vintage shopping is becoming more popular here in Manila,” she said.
Sofia also revealed her growing love for vintage fashion, saying, “I’m also selling vintage bags and leather on Instagram. I even have vintage leather jackets, which I’m really into right now.”
With no upcoming films or TV projects in the pipeline, Sofia stays busy with online selling and brand endorsements.
Motherhood has also changed her perspective on spending.
“Before, it was all about brands, brands, brands. Now, that doesn’t really matter!” she admitted, proudly embracing her new title as an “ukay” queen, valuing vintage shoes, bags, and leather over high-end labels.
