QUEZON Governor Danilo Suarez is most welcome in two backwater areas in the province: San Antonio town and Barangay Masalukot IV of Candelaria. We cannot characterize Candelaria as "backwater" anymore because it is now very progressive, thanks to Mayor Macario Boongaling. We cannot also dismiss the achievements of former Mayor Ferdinand Maliwanag and former Mayor David Emralino.

The reason for Suarez's being able to score good points in the two areas is the delivery of rescue vehicles in Barangay Briones, San Antonio and Barangay Masalukot IV.

During the delivery of the vehicles, Governor Suarez was accompanied by 2nd District Board Member Yna Liwanag. They were welcomed by San Antonio Mayor Erick Wagan and Barangay Chairman Ariel Wagan, and Chairman Reverend Manalo of Masalukot IV.

In his speech, Governor Danny Suarez talked about the various services of the provincial government of Quezon, especially in the area of disaster preparedness and mitigation, search and rescue, and similar undertakings.

Suarez also discussed the details of the provincial government's successful official response in the fight against COVID-19 epidemic that has also taken its toll among Quezonins.

In their remarks, BM Liwanag and Mayor Wagan expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the governor who they said is always willing and able to help in meeting the needs of the residents of San Antonio. Thank you, indeed, Governor Danny!

It seems rescue vehicles are in vogue in Quezon province, most especially in Lucena City, where you can see Rescue Vehicles plying the streets almost every hour. (Raffy Sarnate)#
