To export "antiques" and "artworks,” an appropriate export permit and license as a dealer of cultural properties from the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA) are required.

The Bureau of Customs at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) reminded to all passengers that antiques and artworks is strictly regulated by the commission.

Under NCCA Board Resolution 2021-281 or the Guidelines for Exporting Cultural Properties from the Philippines, applicants, including owners, artists, or their authorized agents, must submit the necessary documents to the NCCA at least 60 days before the planned export from the Philippines.

For future inquiries about the exportation of cultural properties, please direct them to the Permits and Compliance Section at 8527-22-07 or 8527-21-92 or email them at pcs@ncca.gov.ph .
