THE 5-member P-Pop group SB19 is ready to reveal a more vulnerable side of the band as they take fans behind-the-scenes.

This early, the band has dropped a teaser for their upcoming documentary series, What: The Making Film.

The series will also dive into the deeper meaning of ‘What?’ and its meaning to the band. “For this song, it’s all about raising your flag, being proud of yourself, and loving yourself,” one member says in the clip.

‘What?’ was SB19’s first new song since the release of their 2020 album, ‘Get In The Zone’. The track is expected to be featured on the band’s upcoming sophomore album, although a release date, title and track list for the project have yet to be announced.

In 2018, SB19, composed of members Josh, Sejun, Stell, Ken, and Justin, made their debut with ‘Tilahula’, a ballad that appealed not only to Filipinos but also people from different Asian countries.

They went viral in no time, the buzz snowballed into a series of magazine features, television appearances, endorsements, and live performances all over the country.

They became the first Southeast Asian artist to enter the Billboard Social 50 and the first Filipino group to chart on the Billboard Next Big Sound.

Earlier this month, SB19 announced that its virtual comeback launch event had to be postponed as they had been exposed to someone who tested positive for COVID-19.

As a result, the group went into quarantine, and are rescheduling a date for the comeback event. A new schedule is yet to be announced. (NP)
