San Pedrense stylist and florist Serge Igonia is proud to share the floral bouquet he personally designed and crafted for the recent Miss Universe Philippines Pageant, in which he drew as his inspiration the sampaguita garlands made in San Pedro City, Laguna. In this photo that he shared on social media, Igonia showed off the "pure sampaguita bouquet" made for the new Miss Universe Philippines 2024 Chelsea Manalo.
The bouquet is sponsored by Megaworld Hotels and Resorts, which has also been active in reviving the traditional sampaguita industry in the Philippines with the city government of San Pedro as one of its partners.
