A native son of San Pedro City, Laguna was recently sworn in as the newest member of the Professional Regulatory Board of Mechanical Engineering (PRB-ME).
Engr. Ramon Solis of Barangay Nueva recently took his oath before Charito Zamora, chairperson of the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC).
According to the San Pedro City Tourism, Culture and Arts Office (CTCAO), Solis received his BS Mechanical Engineering degree from Adamson University. He was also the National President of the Philippine Society of Mechanical Engineers - PSME in 2006.
He has served in different corporate institutions, specifically in the healthcare industry as engineering and facilities manager. He was the Vice President for Facilities Management and Engineering of St. Luke's Medical Center (2015-2019) and Head of Engineering and Facilities Management of the Makati Life Medical Center (2021-present).
"As Member of the Board of Mechanical Engineering, Engr. Solis is expected to be one of the key policymakers in the regulation and practice of mechanical engineering in the Philippines," the CTCAO added in its social media post.
