Catbalogan City, Samar– A power outage affected several areas in Basey, Marabut, and parts of Sta. Rita, from Bagolibas to San Juan, following a fire that damaged a power post in Brgy. Basiao.
In response, Samelco II (Samar I Electric Cooperative) quickly mobilized its linemen team to troubleshoot and restore power to the affected areas. As of the latest update, electricity has already been restored from Brgy. Bagolibas to Brgy. Iba in Basey, including the Basey Poblacion.
Samelco II's linemen team is now heading towards Brgy. Basiao to further address the issue and restore power in that area. The cooperative's swift response highlights their commitment to providing reliable service and minimizing downtime for residents in the affected areas.
