Pump prices of gasoline, diesel and kerosene would be cut tomorrow by 70 centavos to P1.80 per liter.
Local oil firms announced separately their rate cuts:
Shell (starting 6 a.m.)
Gasoline: -P0.70 per liter
Diesel: -P1.30 per liter
Kerosene: -P1.80 per liter
Seaoil (6 a.m.)
Gasoline: -P0.70 per liter
Diesel: -P1.30 per liter
Kerosene: -P1.80 per liter
Cleanfuel (12:01 a.m.)
Gasoline: -P0.70 per liter
Diesel: -P1.30 per liter
The rollback in fuel prices came after two consecutive price hikes in February, reported Inquirer
The Department of Energy’s latest monitoring showed that oil companies implemented a per liter increase of P0.90 for gasoline and P1.05 for diesel on Feb. 21. But for kerosene the price was rolled back by only 25 centavos per liter on February 21.
The DoE estimated that rollback year to date only had a net for diesel at P1.10 per liter and kerosene at ₱0.50 per liter while gasoline had a net increase of P6 per liter.
