Fisherfolk from various parts of the country trooped to the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) offices in Quezon City on Wednesday, February 7, to call on the agency to put a stop to the Manila Bay reclamation activities.
They claimed that the livelihood and housing of about 100,000 fishermen and their families have been affected by reclamation activities and seabed quarrying.
