With a rating of 91.70 percent, Quezon Police Provincial Office (QPPO) finished the final stage of the Performance Governance System (PGS) Pathway and conferred the "institutionalized status".

Col. Ledon Monte, QPPO provincial director, personally received the certificate and a Silver Eagle Award. The awarding ceremony was administered by PRO4A Regional Director, Brig. Gen. Carlito M. Gaces, and witnessed by Quezon Governor, Angelina Tan.

In the conferment of the award, the Quezon PPO adhered to the promotion in their pursuit of greater heights to better serve the province.

"We will not sit on our laurels but even more, Quezon PPO will continue to pursue greater heights and focus towards the realization of our shared dream of a highly capable, effective and credible police service," Monte said.

The four stages of the Performance Governance System pathway cover: initiation (strategy design); compliance (strategy execution); proficiency (monitoring and evaluation of strategy), and institutionalization to sustain the roadmap toward the expected reform.

"PGS culls global best practices in managing strategy to meet the rising needs of Philippine public sector institutions. It builds governance reform capacities across a four-stage pathway and addresses a wide array of challenges while also yielding a niche impact," Institute of Solidarity in Asia (ISA) wrote on their website.
