In preparation for the upcoming Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Election 2023, Quezon Provincial Police Office launched the Quezon Provincial Joint Security Control Center in adherence to the Comelec Resolution No. 10924.
Election day will be on October 30 and Certificates of Candidacy can be filed by aspiring candidates from August 28 to September 2. The campaign period will be from October 19 to October 28.
After that, candidates have until November 29 to file their Statement of Contribution and Expenditures (SOCE).

In a report released by the QPPO, the activity was attended by QPPO Provincial Director for Operations (DPDO) and Chief Provincial Operational Management Unit (POMU), AFP counterparts and election officers.
"Ang buong kapulisan ng Quezon PPO ay mas paiigtingin ang pagbabantay at pakikiisa para masiguro ang isang ligtas at payapang halalan ng BSKE 2023 na may kawalang banta ng krimen sa ating pamayanan. Ang pagbuo ng PJSCC ay binubuo ng iba't ibang ahensiya katuwang ang COMELEC at AFP na siyang magpaparating sa ating mga kababayan nang kahandaan at pinalawak na pagpapatupad ng batas upang ang seguridad sa peace and order ng komunidad ay mapanatili," said Col. Ledon Monte, PNP provincial director.
Monte also joined the 2nd Regional Joint Security Control Center Command Conference in Camp General Lim in Calamba, Laguna, for the elections briefing where he presented the preparations of the Quezon PNP for the upcoming election and their widened security measures.
"With the declaration of Quezon Province as Insurgency-Free and the intensified law enforcement operations, the Province is generally peaceful.
"We are expecting that the voices of the Quezonians will be heard through this election as Quezon Police ensures an extensive proactive security measures and stern monitoring to peace and order against criminalities," Monte said.
