In a concerted effort to fortify the foundation of families within the community, the Sto. Tomas City Health Office recently organized a three-day Pre-Marriage Orientation program, pinning to equip soon-to-be-married couples with the necessary knowledge and skills essential for a harmonious union.

The program, highlighted by interactive sessions, workshops, and discussions, was spearheaded by Ms. B. Marjei Bautista and Mr. Andy Pergis of the Commission on Population and Development-Calabarzon (CPDC).

With participation from various offices including City Health, Social Welfare & Development, Agriculture, Youth Development, Planning, Civil Registrar, and GAD Focal, the orientation sought to strengthen the bond between couples by preparing them for the journey of marriage.

Becoming united in marriage is more than just a legal formality; it's a lifelong commitment. It's imperative that couples are equipped with the necessary tools to navigate the challenges that may arise.

The Pre-Marriage Orientation program not only fulfills a legal requirement but also serves as a proactive measure to mitigate future familial issues.

By instilling a sense of preparedness and understanding among couples, it lays the groundwork for a resilient and enduring partnership.

In a time when the fabric of families is constantly tested, initiatives like these serve as a beacon of hope, fostering stronger, more resilient communities from the ground up.

As we invest in the well-being of our future generations, let us not underestimate the power of equipping couples with the knowledge and skills they need to build a thriving family unit.

After all, the strength of a society lies in the strength of its families.
