The Philippine Philharmonic Orchestra (PPO) begins the new year with a high note with the fifth installment of its 41st concert season dubbed "Preludi" on January 16, 2025, 7:30 PM, at the Samsung Performing Arts Theater in Makati City.
Under the baton of Maestro Grzegorz Nowak, the PPO treats audiences to a dramatic repertoire featuring a masterpiece of Jeffrey Ching, “Fenghuang Singing.” The work of PPO's composer-in-residence will come alive through the voice of his partner and muse, Spanish-Filipino soprano Andion Fernandez.
Polish piano prodigy Szymon Nehring also joins the nation's premier orchestra in its rendition of Frédéric Chopin's “Piano Concerto no. 1, op. 11, E minor” and Franz Liszt's “Les Préludes.” (CCP Corporate Communications)
