Jeepney drivers operating traditional jeepneys on routes within the cities of Pasig, Taguig, Marikina, and Makati conducted a die-in protest at a public transport terminal in Pasig City Monday, November 20, to demonstrate their unity in support of the three-day transport strike against the jeepney phaseout.
The nationwide transport strike is their response to the government's refusal to remove the franchise consolidation component of the program.
