Blood is thicker than water. But water is more isolating than blood, sweat and tears combined.
Geographically, waters divide actor-politician Richard Gomez and his twin sister Stella Suarez, Jr., popularly known as Pinky Suarez, miles and miles apart.
While Pinky stays mostly in the big city, Richard moves around frequently in Leyte.
Being a real estate broker and an on-and-off actress, Pinky navigates in Metro Manila and elsewhere not excluding overseas marketing berths of Megaworld.
Being the congressman of the 4th District of Leyte and an active TV and film denizen, Chard oversees his geo-political constituents and audio visual studios in his domain at his disposal.
Pinky and Chard (or Goma) might be physically far from each other but they are emotionally close however virtual.
When Goma celebrated his natal day, Pinky penned touching notes on her twin brother's red-letter day.
"Happy Birthday, Richard," wrote Pinky.
Blood connects and thickens the bond that binds siblings in any geographical distances.
That keeps the kinship alive no matter how busy their respective schedules are.
Pinky and Richard are the children of actress Stella Suarez.
They are known to be twins although Pinky, according to Wikipedia, is Goma's cousin who was adopted by Stella. They are publicly accepted as twins.
