Phillip Salvador invades CALABARZON family reunion

I thought my invitation was too sudden for the hectic sked of Phillip as he is busy promoting himself as an senatorial candidate although the official campaign period has yet to come in February 2025 yet.

Or he wouldn’t answer my text message due to some unavoidable circumstances.

To be sure that a showbiz person could drop by the reunion, I asked action star and the so-called Bruce Lee of the Philippines Vic Tiro to come with me, together with entertainment journalist Art Tapalla, to sit as judges in the Personality Contest I organized.

Of course, I didn’t text Salvador that he would sit as a juror.

I just invited him to the party with no assurance of appearance.

On the day of the celebration, I didn’t bother to check my mobile line text messages because I was too busy to attend to all the nitty-gritty of the affair.

Until after lunch I noticed that a Facebook text message flashed to my screen from someone in the Villasanta group chat that Phillip Salvador has been calling and texting me in my mobile line and Viber.

I attempted to call Ipe on his mobile phone as a huge van came up to the parking lot of the venue.

Lo and behold!

The man who was approaching my way was Phillip himself.

He hugged me tightly which I also did. He told me he never stopped communicating with me but to no avail.

I thanked him profusely for gracing the occasion.

Then I led him to the event and when all the kin saw and recognized him, they had all their cell phone cameras on to take a photo of the actor which he willingly obliged.

In his speech, Ipe said he came all the way from Mindanao and went to Lopez as early as sunrise to make it to my invitation.

He was the cherry on top of the party that made all the Villasantas taste sweetly.

I was touched.
