Marvin Hayes joins J&T Express in the PBA 3x3 for its maiden season together with Jeric Teng, Robin Rono, Keith Datu and Joseph Sedurifa starting September 10.
Logistics service J&T Express will be joining the PBA 3x3 tournament and will be bannered by former national 3x3 team member Marvin Hayes in its debut in the second season that opens this September 10 at Robinsons Antipolo.
After winning several championships with Limitless Appmasters and Purefoods TJ Titans, Hayes will look to bring his winning ways with J&T together with former UST Growling Tiger Jeric Teng, and ex-National University Bulldog Robin Rono.
Completing the squad are Fil-Am big man Keith Datu out of Chico State in California and forward Joseph Sedurifa who has previously played for the Meralco Bolts 3x3.
Meanwhile, calling the shots for the team is playing-head coach Ryan Monteclaro.
"We're excited to represent J&T Express in the PBA 3x3 and we believe that we have put up a competitive team which can challenge the best squads out there. “We know it’s going to be a challenge, but we’re ready and we’re embracing it.”
The newcomer J&T is hoping to be a contender early in their franchise’s run as it joins San Miguel Corporation teams Ginebra, Purefoods, and San Miguel, Manny V. Pangilinan teams Cavitex, Meralco, and TNT, Blackwater, NorthPort, Pioneer Elasto Seal, Platinum Karaoke, and Terrafirma for the second season of PBA 3x3.
