Digital payment system PayMaya has tapped on a growing source of revenue – esports players – through its new gaming platform called PlayMaya.

MOBILE wallet and cashless payment platform PayMaya has launched its gaming platform called PlayMaya where players can top-up gaming pins while also enjoy cashbacks, deals, and mini-games.

PlayMaya is accessible through the in-app feature through the “Play” icon in the PayMaya app.

The platform offers over 290 digital gaming products, cashback rewards, deals, access to tournaments, and free mini-games.

To celebrate the launch, PlayMaya users can get up to 50-percent cashbacks for purchasing gaming credits and top-ups from May 14-16, 2021.

Cashback is capped at P200.

30 Diamonds are also up for grabs for Mobile Legends Bang Bang (MLBB)players upon loading Smart’s GigaGames99 using PayMaya until June 4, 2021.

PayMaya is also launching an esports tournament for MLBB, all of Duty Mobile, and PUBG Mobile with over 10 Million Pesos total worth of prizes.

To join, just form a team and sign up in two ways:

●Through PlayMaya at the PayMaya app

●Visit any 39,000 Smart Padala partners and scan the QR code on the poster in their store

In the first quarter of 2021, PayMaya said its gaming-related transaction volume registered a high double-digit year-on-year growth.

They are expecting to see a rise in transactions after launching PlayMaya with streamer and Tier One Entertainment member, Cong TV as its newest ambassador. (HD)
