A symbolic art highlighted the strength and embracing the femininity, uplifting equality, inspiring change. This Art Tribute describes women empowerment in line with the celebration of Women's Month.

Jasper Rabina was born on September 13, 2001, currently residing in Cabarasan Guti Palo, Leyte. A family man and a full-time graphic artist in Tanauan, Leyte. At an early age of 18, he showed interest in the leaf cutting art using only Breadfruit tree leaves or Kamansi. While most children of his age were busy with playing online games, Jasper, was absorbed in his paper and leaf cutting with lines and tones.

This extra-ordinary talent in the field of visual arts, supported his financial necessities and encouraged him to further pursue his crafts.

In September 2020, Jasper bested other artists when he won the third prize in an One reference challenge (ORC) entitled "DUNGAW" in Tacloban City. Followed this up with 10 wins from different competitions.

At the age of 21, he was featured internationally twice in the same year 2021. The two art exhibits are Kalaratnam Foundation of Art Society (KFOAS) in India and International Online Art Exhibition in Indonesia Nirantar University.

Jasper’s unique leaf artworks includes those about Carlos Yulo , three-time Olympian Hidilyn Diaz, Margilen Didal, Nesty Petecio and Aira Villegas. He made these portraits using Kamansi leaves. He was also recognized in local and national news which includes CNN Philippines and 24 ORAS.

His seriousness in the field led many to believe that a bright future awaits him. After completing a considerable number of incredible artworks, Jasper decided to share his talent by showcasing his works in many art exhibits.

It took him hours to complete a leaf artwork.

"Inin in usa na ' tribute ' para ha mga kababayin'an na padayon na nakaka-eksperensiya hin diskriminasyon ngan pang-aabuso," Jasper explained.

In observance of 2025 National Women’s Month, he said we should reflect on, and honor the remarkable achievements and contributions of the women in our society who showed boundless potential and lighted the path for all aspect of arts, culture, technology, and politics.

Jasper urged that as we celebrate this month, let's change the traditional norms and support the advocacy towards an inclusive nation where women also have equitable opportunities, free from gender biases.
