Kananga, Leyte — In one of the most beautiful days in the world on December 11, 2023, Kananga, Leyte, witnessed the crowning of Natasha Jung as Miss Universe PH-Kananga, marking her ascent to represent the town in the highly anticipated Miss Universe Philippines 2024.
Jung, a familiar face in the pageant circuit, came to attention after competing in prestigious beauty pageants such as Bb. Miss Pilipinas 2022, Miss World Philippines 2021, and most recently, Miss Caloocan 2023. Her victory on coronation night, when she topped nearly 20 other candidates, struck a deep connection in the hearts of Kananga residents.
