A shipment containing at least 323 kilos of shabu valued at P2.2 billion was intercepted upon inspection at the Manila International Container Port (MICP) by operatives of the Bureau of Customs (BOC) led by Deputy Commissioner for Intelligence Juvymax Uy and MICP Spy Chief Alvin Enciso.
Earlier, the Philippine National Police Drug Enforcement Group (PNP-DEG) received information that a large shipment of drugs from Mexico would be arriving in Manila.
The drugs were intercepted through the PNP’s coordination with the Bureau of Customs and Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency.
