Lucena City Mayor Dondon Alcala personally turned over 21 low-cost housing units to beneficiaries in Don Victor Ville, Barangay Silangang Mayao, in partnership with the National Housing Authority (NHA).

LUCENA CITY, Quezon – Mayor Dondon Alcala has recently personally turned over 21 low-cost housing units to beneficiaries in Don Victor Ville, Barangay Silangang Mayao, in partnership with the National Housing Authority (NHA).

Alcala was joined by City Administrator Anacleto Alcala Jr., Councilor Patrick Norman Nadera, Rev. Ramil Esplana, OIC of Batangas-Quezon District Office, Miled Ibias ,Head of Urban Poor Affairs, Brgy. Captain Nieves Maano and the heads of various offices in the city.

City Administrator Jun Alcala said the housing project will mainly benefit residents relocating them to a decent and humane home.

In his speech during the turn-over, Mayor Alcala said he is happy that some Lucena hin could have a fresh start in their lives by having their own homes.

He also asked the beneficiaries to take care of their new houses for them and their families. (ONT/With report from PIO Lucena)
