Over 1,700 Quezon students finish junior high

LUCENA CITY, Quezon - Some 1,784 junior high school completers from Quezon National High School (QNHS) marched on Monday and took their spotlight during their completion rites held at Quezon Convention Center here.

The total number of completers was disclosed by Art Angelo Enelo, Grade 10 chief adviser who kept close watch of the proceedings and guided the student-completers and achievers under his watch up to the centerstage of the program.


Tejay Biscocho, a student who is the top achiever of the 2026 junior high completers of QNHS, made the welcome remarks followed by Joseph Hinanay, principal teacher 4 who introduced the assembled student participants in their simple school attire of khaki pants and white polo shirt for boys and blue skirt and white blouse for girls.


Dr. Rommel Bautista, district supervisor of the school, certified the student completers and issued their certification while Dr. Roselyn Golfo, assistant school supervisor accompanied by Drs. Lorena Walangsumbat, Aris Barrago, Walter Galarosa and Juanito Merle - all school top officials of QNHS – led in the awarding of the student-completers with honors and special recognition.


Enelo introduced the guest of honor who is Rev. Fr. Edgar Allan Santayana, parochial vicar of St. John the Baptist Parish and QNHS Batch 2008 graduate, who exhorted the student completers to make good of their studies and pursue higher education to contribute to the moral, social and economic improvement of their community and be better citizens of the country.
