Ray L. Junia, publisher of Opinyon Media Advocacies, has been elected president of the Philippine Agricultural Journalists (PAJ) for the current year until 2026.
Before this election, Junia was president of the PAJ Eastern Visayas based in Tacloban City.
The prestigious association of newsmen and government information officers, now in its 48th year, held its general assembly and election of officers at the Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) mess hall, ATI Compound, Elliptical Road, Diliman, Quezon City last May 2.
PAJ is known for sponsoring the annual Binhi Awards which recognizes the best articles and written pieces about agriculture, agrarian reform, food and allied topics, in tandem with the San Miguel Corp.
