They are moving around in the same industry, navigating in one common org of movie stars, the Katipunan ng mga Artista ng Pelikulang Pilipino at Telebisyon (KAPPT) or Actors Guild, starring in big box-office hits like "Bokyo" of the past which featured among others, Ana Marin, Bibeth Orteza, Paquito Diaz etc. but after all these configurations, a twist of fate, actors Nino Muhlach and Marissa Delgado met accidentally in Nasugbu, Batangas during the Holy Week.
Marissa, on her part, went to the bucolic Batangas to spend the holy days exclusively with kith and kin.
Delgado, after doing a series of shoots for GMA Network's "My Guardian Alien" and attending its grand press conference, decided to pack her things up and drove off to Nasugbu.
"Minsan lang naman ito. Panahon para magpahinga (This just happens once in a while. It's time to taje a breather( after working hard)," said Marissa.
Running an export of skilled workers is also a business which Delgado still does after the reign of entertainment promotions for Japan which stopped operating when the Japanese government ceased to accommodate them.
Anyway, MarDel was started by Marissa (the name is a contraction of the first syllable of her first and last of her screen name) in the 1990s.
Meanwhile, Nino after his hectic schedule in taping "Walang Matigas na Pulis sa Matinik na Misis" for GMA Network and other audio-visual fares like films, gathered his available members of the family and some of his friends and trekked up the mountains and sailed off the seas of Batangas.
According to Muhlach, it was a once--in--a--lifetime experience to explore nature.
"Holy Dive in Holy Week," exclaimed Nino.
Muhlach and Delgado's chance meeting was a renewal of their camaraderie and working relationship they hope to achieve once more in the coming days.
