PLANNING to go out tomorrow?

The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) announced the suspension of the newly implemented number coding scheme for the Feast of the Immaculate Conception, a special non-working holiday.

Also suspended tomorrow is the modified light trucks ban along EDSA running from Magallanes, Makati to North Ave. in Quezon City.

Last month, the agency announced the reimplementation of the unified vehicular volume reduction program (UVVRP) or number coding scheme but slightly modified.

Vehicles with plates ending in 1 and 2 are prohibited on Monday, 3 and 4 on Tuesday, 5 and 6 on Wednesday, 7 and 8 on Thursday, 9 and 0 on Friday.

For private vehicles, the number coding scheme will be implemented during the rush hours from 5 pm to 8 pm while the light truck ban is implemented from 5 pm to 9 pm.

Motorists are advised to plan ahead especially because tomorrow is a non-working holiday.
