A disruptive Ho Chi Minh-bound female traveler scandalized travelers inside the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 3 after she stripped off all her clothing and walked around naked in the departure area.
Airport officials quickly responded to a request for assistance from airline staff on Sunday night, June 9, after the naked passenger identified as Thuytrang Nguyen, a Vietnamese, wandering around in the nude.
She was a passenger of Cebu Pacific flight 5J571.
The Airport Police Department (APD) and CEB ground personnel, along with protocol staff, worked together to control the woman and helped her prepare for her upcoming flight.
Nguyen was prevented from leaving the country on that day by an immigration officer who described her as "psychologically incapacitated."
Vietnamese was allowed to board the next available flight.
Prior to this, Nguyen was instructed to pay fines for overstaying her stay in the country but she declined to do so.
Because Philippine immigration required her to pay fines before she could board the flight, the passenger was reportedly irked and unexpectedly took off her clothes and walked in the nude.
