Who will represent the Philippines in the upcoming Miss Charm 2024?

This is the question now circulating online following the announcement of Miss Charm Philippine 2024, Krishna Gravidez, in her withdrawal to join the Miss Charm International 2024 competition.

"After much consideration and reflection, I regret to inform you that I have decided to withdraw from the Miss Charm International competition," Gravidez wrote on her social media account.

Gravidez, who represented Baguio City in the Miss Universe Philippines 2023 pageant, was among the top 3 finalists along with Miss Universe 2023 Michelle Dee.

In a separate ceremony shortly after the coronation night, Gravidez was proclaimed Miss Charm Philippine 2023, while Pauline Amelinckx was crowned Miss Supranational Philippines 2023.

"To the pageant fans, team Strawberries, my Vietnamese supporters, and my core team, who watched my journey and waited, I thank you for holding on," she added.

"I want to express my deepest gratitude for the incredible opportunities that Miss Universe Philippines and Miss Charm Philippines have afforded me. It has been an honor to be part of such prestigious competitions, and I am truly grateful for the experiences and friendships I have gained along the way.”

No other reason was stated as to why Gravidez withdrew from the competition; however, there are still reports yet to be confirmed for the next international edition of Miss Charm.

In the recently concluded Miss Universe Philippines 2024 coronation night, Pampanga's Cyrille Payumo was crowned Miss Charm Philippines 2025.

On the other hand, Gravidez surprised the pageant fans as she was presented as the official candidate for the 2024 edition of Miss World Philippines.

The Miss World Philippines organization unveiled the official 18 candidates to succeed the reigning Miss World Philippines, Gwendolyne Fourniol.

The official coronation night is set for July 19 at the Mall of Asia Arena.

As of this writing, there is still no statement from the Miss Universe Philippines organization.
