The fight is still on.

Former child wonder Niño Muhlach felt he was initially victorious in his battle against two of GMA Network's contractual members of the creative department for their alleged sexual abuse of his son Sandro Muhlach.

Sandro was reportedly violated by Jojo Nones and Richard Cruz in a hotel during the GMA Gala.

The young Muhlach had already filed a case of sexual abuse against Nones and Cruz.

Although the court has yet to hear the case, the Senate has done a separate investigation on the matter with Niño and Jojo as two of the resource speakers on the issue.

Earlier, Sandro was present at the hearing.

Muhlach even broke down at the Upper House inquiry when he said that he reared his children properly but still found wanting respect from fellow industry workers for Sandro.

"Si Jojo, writer pa naman ng isa kong TV show, ang 'Walang Matigas na Pulis sa Matigas na Misis.' Okey naman kami sa set pero bakit nangyari pa 'yon sa anak ko (Jojo is even a writer of my TV show. We were okay on the set but I still wonder why it even happened to my son)," lamented Nino.

Meanwhile, when Senator Jinggoy Estrada joined the Committee on Public Information and Mass Media chaired by Senator Robinhood Padilla, the body which has been hearing the case for legislation, he asked Nones if it's true that he donated money to the charity project of the Muhlach family to settle the conflict, the accused denied the claim and answered he was evading the questioning invoking his constitutional rights.

Estrada held Jojo liable for contempt which brought him to the detention chamber at the Senate.

Meanwhile, Senator Jinggoy addressed the backlash he created when he seemed harsh on Jojo.

As we write, though, Nones was already released from detention.
