The provincial government of Laguna has made medical services more accessible to residents through the launch of a new mobile application.
Dubbed the "GOB SOL App," the new mobile platform offers various medical services such as medical consultations, e-prescriptions and medicines.
Users can register, book online consultations and receive digital prescriptions for free medicines under the Akay ni Gob Botika program.
Online consultations with specialists will be available Mondays and Wednesdays from 9 a.m. to noon.
The new app, currently available for Android smartphones, will be accessible to residents of San Pablo, Calamba, Santa Rosa, and Cabuyao cities, as well as the towns of Los Baños and Mabitac.
“It was my promise to help fix the healthcare system of Laguna,” Laguna Governor Sol Aragones said, calling the initiative “a step toward a stronger, more responsive provincial health system.”
The governor also announced nine additional Akay ni Gob Botika outlets, bringing the total to 15 community pharmacies across the province.
