Binibining Pilipinas Charity Inc. (BPCI) is back even stronger, keeping the prestige and elegance of the 60th edition of the annual national pageant.
The announcement was made during the press presentation of the 40 candidates at the New Frontier Theater.
The BPCI officially unveiled the newest crowns, the successors of the Bb. Pilipinas International and Bb. Pilipinas Globe titles that were designed by the renowned jeweler Manny Halasan.
"These exquisite pieces of art are true works of art, drawing inspiration from the iconic Binibining Pilipinas logo. Each crown features ethical diamonds, reflecting not only their brilliance but also our commitment to responsible sourcing. The design beautifully incorporates three stars and a radiant sun, symbolizing the essence of the Philippines and our nation's proud heritage," Binibining Pilipinas wrote on their social media account.
BPCI will be giving away P1 million to each of the winners of the Bb Pilipinas International 2024 and Bb Globe 2024, while the Bb Pilipinas 1st and 2nd runner-ups will receive P400,000 each.
A cash donation will also be given to their chosen charity, World Vision Philippines.
The 60th grand coronation night of the Binibining Pilipinas will be held at the Smart Araneta Coliseum this coming July 7, where reigning Bb. Pilipinas International Angelica Lopez, who will compete for the upcoming edition of Miss International, and Bb. Pilipinas Globe Anna Lakrini, who ended her Miss Globe stint as 2nd runner-up, will crown their successors.
The coronation will be hosted by the all-female Bb Pilipinas Alumni: Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray, Miss International 2016, Kylie Versoza, Miss Grand International 2016 first runner-up Nicole Cordoves, and Miss Universe 2014 semi-finalist MJ Lastimosa.
