This year’s virtual Negros Trade Fair features products and handicrafts created by local craftsmen and SMEs including natural and organic products, food, clothes, accessories, furniture, homeware, and décor.

ATTENDING trade fairs, art shows, and expos is a one-of-a-kind experience.

It opens your eyes to a varied network of local craftsmanship that inspire their audience.

Since the Covid-19 pandemic started, however, hosts of these kinds of events have begun pivoting to adapt digitally.

This is why the 35th edition of the Negros Trade Fair is made available to the public through an e-commerce website and an on-site selling event in Bacolod City.

The Negros Trade Fair has been the Philippines’ longest-running provincial trade fair in Manila.

It is hosted and organized by the Association of Negros Producers (ANP).

The website, shopnegrostradefair.com, features products and handicrafts created by local craftsmen and SMEs in Negros.

This includes natural and organic products, food, clothes, accessories, furniture, homeware, and décor.

The trade fair also gives ample highlights on agriculture and tourism more this year, as the fair’s original objective was to promote the culture, lifestyle, land, history, and stories behind Negros’ many traditions.

As the shift to e-commerce was established, the ANP wanted more than ever to establish an online presence to reach both local and international markets.

The website features products of the day to give each business a platform to promote its products on its home page.

A few of the brands that are taking part in the Negros Online Trade Fair include Artisana Island Crafts, where you can get home products made of ceramics interwoven with natural pandan fibers harvested from Mt. Kanlaon; ChiEvs Stones and Crystals, that offers unique fashion accessories made with natural gems and crystals; Inasalan sa Dalan; Marayo Development Corporation, the NVC Foundation; and Sugarlandia Barquillos.

There are 30 brands in total that are featuring their products on the website.

Catch them all online or on-site until June 30, 2021.
