to be more mindful in using the word Muslim and Islam when referring to crime suspects and to stop, if not avoid, biases and marginalization of the minority Muslim Filipino communities in the country. This is in connection with the video footage of the hostage taking of former Senator Leila De Lima at the PNP Custodial Center., where the PNP personnel in the footage repetitively used phrases like "yung mga Muslim,", when identifying the suspected hostage taker.
