The National Commission on Muslim Filipinos threw its support for the passage of the National Hijab Day Bill. Patterned after the World Hijab Day, which is observed every February 1 to honor Muslim women who wear the hijab. a veil that covers the head and chest, worn usually by Muslim female beyond the age of puberty outside their immediate family.
