While Palawan belongs to the jurisdiction of MIMAROPA, the clustered regions of Mindoro, Masbate, Romblon and Palawan, CALABARZON, by virtue of collaboration and sisterhood has been fostering cooperation and mutual understanding among Southern Luzon provinces to strengthen governance and public management to achieve greater heights and developments for national enhancement.
One example is the announcement and implementation of the 2025 Palawan International Choral Festival (PICF) slated on August 13 to 16 of this year.
PICF might see action in Puerto Princesa City in Palawan but the engrossing participation of CALABARZON and other regions from the north and south geopolitical representations of the country are encouraging.
"Marami na ang nagpaparamdam at nagtatanong kung paano sasali (There are already many inquiries about how to join the event," exclaimed Robert Delgado who is the organizer of the summit.
According to Delgado, PICF will feature exhibitions, competitions, workshops, masterclass, fiesta booths, lecturez etc. in the of the festival.
"We will have a Grand Prix winner among the choir entries," qualified Delgado who is also the President of the National Association of Filipino Choirs.
