Young fashion designer Erick Valena invited me to cover the recital of his music students at the Robinsons Galleria recently.

These pupils were graduates of Erick's piano and singing classes at the Nika Studio in Makati City.

According to Valena, Yamaha Music called Robinsons to mount a musical event for the mall and it did.

Yamaha then coordinated with Erick and Nika since he teaches at the latter.

In his text messages, Valena who stays in Muntinlupa, the neighboring town of San Pedro, mentioned Robinsons Galleria the venue of the recital.

I was confident it was Robinsons Galleria in San Pedro which is very near my place in Villa Castillo in Pacita 2 until entertainment journalist JC Nigado and I went to the Gokongwei mall a few minutes before the start of the show.

JC and I were looking for the event but instead saw a promo show of "My Husband is a Mafia Boss" in one corner thinking that one or two stars of the series were done in fashion by Valena.

Impatient about looking for Erick, we went up the second floor to look for him but still, to no avail until a mall staff based on the directional photos sent by Erick said it's not where we were which is Galleria South but Galleria Ortigas.

It was a disappointment like no other so I (JC had to go somewhere else) just waited for the Viva One promo tour and expected Joseph Marco and Rhen Escano, the main cast of the digital series to appear in person.

"My Husband is a Mafia Boss" from the hit Wattpad series of the same title was a successful adprom of Viva Entertainment.

Viva stars, all dressed in white shirts with the title of the show printed on them, stormed the entertainment activity center of the mall to the delight of the mall goers, mainly from San Pedro.

It was a blast for the Ashtine Olviga fans and of course, Joseph and Rhen's followers.

Other stars that sent the audience into a hysteria were PJ Rosario, Kelley Day, and Mo Mitchell, among others.
