Alumni of the Eulogio Rodriguez Jr. High School were in a frenzy when the coolest band in town, Cool Rhythm serenaded them on their 73rd Foundation Day and Grand Alumni Homecoming during the weekend at the ERJHS campus in Mayon Avenue in Quezon City.

According to Nenita Alacar, a 1971 alumnus of the school, she was thrilled when Cool Rhythm sang hit tunes of the 60s and 70s.

"It was very wonderful to be thrown back to the good ole' days through music," shared Nenita who came all the way from the US to share memorable experiences both in her secondary education at ERJHS and the Golden Jubilee celebration of her college days at the University of Santo Tomas Faculty of Arts and Letters held at the Heritage Hotel on February 21, 2025 and at the Las Casas de Acuzar in Bagac, Bataan.

Cool Rhythm is led by Cool Rhythm Band, led by Jay Medina Tuangco with other members of the band, namely, Maricar Tamayo, Noel De Guzman, Alvin Abainza, Allan Albano and Jommel Ramos.

Meanwhile, Cool Rhythm Band performs at different casinos and bars, including PAGCOR Casino Tagaytay, PAGCOR Casino Angeles, and PAGCOR Malabon and bars Pier 1 and Red Rhino.
