The coronation night for the latest edition of the Miss Universe Philippines (MUP) is a few days away.
And Lesly Sim is proud to flaunt her talents and charm in a locally designed gown from her native Quezon province as she prepares for the coming Miss Universe pageant.
The MUP organization had recently concluded its national costume competition in which Lesly Sim donned the 'Gintong Butil’ gown of Quezon province.The inspiration for the gown’s design and materials came from hardworking Quezonian farmers.
The costume carries symbolic pieces promoting the bountiful harvest of the Filipino farmers from its headpiece up to its detailed embellishments designed by Quezon's renowned designer Roy Aquino.
Aside from Sim, another Quezonian Miss Universe bet is Christiana Afia Yeboah who will represent the municipality of Tiaong.
