Johnny confronted the Silver Surfer in a desperate battle and finally revealed everything he had learned. Her true name was Shalla-Bal, and she had once lived peacefully on the distant world of Zenn-La. Long ago, Galactus had offered her the same impossible bargain he later proposed to Reed and Sue. Johnny played the final distress transmissions from the countless planets Galactus had destroyed.
