Barangay Officials Oath Taking At Mandaluyong

Mandaluyong City Mayor Benjamin Abalos, Vice Mayor Carmelita Abalos and Rep. Neptali Gonzales lead the mass oath taking ceremony for the newly elected Barangay officials held at the Mandaluyong Gymnasium. 

While other provinces still had issues about  ghost voters wherein parties use non-existent names and voters to join the poll, Eastern Visayas meanwhile had the uncanny reputation of its candidates turning to ghosts due to political rivalry.

The long-awaited Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections, held last October 30, went through without a hitch in Laguna province – except for a few pockets of tension that marred an otherwise peaceful political exercise.
