Pageant season in the country continues as Miss Philippines Earth officially opens their search for the new set of “Environmental Ambassadors.”

There are no dates yet for the last day of application; thus, interested Filipinas between the ages of 18 and 26 may join.

Applicants can be at least high school graduates, at least 5’4” in height, with good moral character, outstanding looks, and personality, single, never married and given birth, and possess beauty in face and figure.

Aside from these attributes, contestants must also employ “above-average communication skills” and must have “knowledge and concern for the environment.”

The next Miss Philippines Earth finalists are expected to succeed currently reigning queens Yllana Maria Aduana, Miss Philippines Earth 2023 and Miss Earth Air 2023; Sha’uri Livor, Miss Philippines Fire 2023; Jemimah Joy Zabata, Miss Philippines Water 2023; Kerri Reilly, Miss Philippine Air 2023; and Athena Claire Auxilo, Miss Philippines Eco Tourism 2023.

Aduana, who is a medical laboratory scientist by profession, was recognized by several award-giving bodies for her work as an environmental ambassador.

Asia’s Humanitarian Hero Awards 2024 awarded her as Asia’s Woman of Influence in UN Sustainable Development Goals and Most Empowered Humanitarian Youth-Education Champion of the Year.

She will also receive an award in the Thailand International Leadership Awards 2024 as Asia’s Most Empowered Young Woman Environmentalist Icon and an Exceptional Crowned Beauty Education Advocate Award of the Year.

Asia’s Influential Leader Awards also recognized her as Asia’s Influential Advocate of Women’s Beauty and Empowerment.
