Zambales 2nd District Rep. Doris "Nanay Bing" E. Maniquiz is this year's recipient of the "Stakeholder Award" given by the Naval Education, Training and Doctrine Command (NETDC) in San Antonio, Zambales.
The award, which was part of the 85th anniversary of NETDC on Wednesday, recognized Maniquiz's "relentless efforts" and "continuous guidance" in shaping maritime education and skills in the country.
Maniquiz received a plaque of appreciation from Rear Admiral Alfonso F. Torres Jr. of the Philippine Navy (PN), Deputy Commander Commodore Salvador G. Lavapie Jr., and Vice Admiral Toribio Adaci Jr. (Flag Officer in Command of the PN). Adaci was also the guest speaker during the occasion, which was also graced by Mayor Edzel Lonzanida of San Antonio. (Randy V. Datu)
