Fishers' and environmental groups announce a series of protests over what they call the government’s “unsubstantial response” on the recent oil spills in Manila Bay at a press conference in Quezon City Monday, August 5.
The groups also plan to hold the administration of President Ferdinand Marcos, Jr. accountable over its "incompetence" in handling the oil spills that have affected thousands of fishers and residents in Metro Manila and the provinces surrounding Manila Bay.
