MAMMANGI FESTIVAL 2024

After the grand comeback in 2023, this year's celebration is set to continue the City of Ilagan’s Vision 2030: a livable city with every Ilagueño upholding the sense of pride and love of the City of Ilagan.

Taking place on April 26-May 11, 2024, the festival has taken the theme: Liveable City Of Ilagan 2030: Isinasapuso Ng Bawat Ilagueño, enjoining every Ilagueño to continue to contribute to the attainment of the city’s objectives thereby committing to the accomplishment of the socio-economic, cultural and good governance goals of the 2030 Vision of the Liveable City of Ilagan.

The week-long festivity on May 5-10 is a tribute to the farmers’ heroic hard work in the field that accounts for the long-standing stature of the City of Ilagan as the Corn Capital of the Philippines.

Likewise, it aims to promote and market the City of Ilagan through excellent Ilagan-made products towards creating more employment opportunities for Ilagueños vis-à-vis bringing greater revenue for the City of Ilagan; To foster unity among the Ilagueño communities towards greater socio-economic and cultural development; and, To showcase, promote and preserve the rich cultural heritage, resiliency and industry of Ilagueños.

Ongoing activities in the city include a press conference with Mayor Josemarie L. Diaz and Vice Mayor Kiryll S. Bello to discuss the theme, the yearly much awaited Tienda Ilagan, Tour of Agri-Ecotourism Village, Cultural Olympics, Binibining Ilagan Grand Finals and Coronation Night, Liga ng mga Barangay Night with the awarding of brarangay achievements, Festival Street Dance and Showdown Competition and the Gawad Ilagueño and Grand Concert.
